Let me tell you how GANGSTER Republicans are. They're like ... you can vote, nonwhite people and white, urban liberals. But we're gonna make it so hard for you to register, you might just give up. And if you STILL manage to register? We'll make you stand in mile-long lines... 1/

And make no mistake, standing in mile-long lines is the ONLY way we're going to let you vote, while we engineer short lines and allow absentee ballots for OUR voters. And when you're in line? We're gonna make it ILLEGAL for anyone to even give you WATER. That's gangsterism. 2/

And if you manage to get through that? And your candidate beats our candidate? We're just gonna reverse the outcome of the election, so we win anyway. It's so thuggish, it should have been invented by the mafia! 3/

Then our Senate Republicans will just deny we're doing all of that, watch us do it and then happily benefit from it like every mob boss benefits from the bloodwork of his goons. The Democratic Party, with its polite gamesmanship and "bipartisanship" is NOT READY for this game. 4/

And here's the wildest part: the Republican Party does all of this and when they actually get power? The super rich ones get fatter and richer and the rest of them just get Twitter memes and Fox News trolling AND THEY'RE FINE WITH THAT. It's just mind-boggling gangsterism. 5/

And it's why our democracy is at serious risk of descending into fascism ... or what @RadioFreeTom calls "late stage Bolshevism," while Canada and other countries shake their heads, shut their borders and wonder what ever happened to America. What a time to be alive. Fin/
