1/ @AlexGangitano The Dec numbers won't be released for a few more days. However, based on this article (see link) and the prior stats, it looks like port activity in December will again be lower than October when new port initiative was announced.

2/ It's a simple math equation. Article on end of year totals.

3/ The Port of Los Angeles data shows they handled 468,713 import containers in October, and 405,309 in November. That’s a decrease of 63,404 import containers from the prior month.

(1) This thread, not written by me - but does have strong merit. A little on the worst case scenario side of things, but well-argued and accepted.

What could be in our future....
(2) "We all know by now “Never let a crisis go to waste” REALLY means:

CREATE a crisis, or the PUBLIC PERCEPTION of a crises, in order to justify a public policy change (Government action) that you want to enact."
(3) And, typically do nothing to truly address the crises you created, as to do so would eliminate the justification for the government action you wanted all along.

1) Priorities in base ingredient/resource supply distribution are being made (grain and protein). Pet food processing is a lower priority. Do not be surprised if you see the Biden administration trigger federal intervention soon...

Do you remember that massive PR push on how Biden was going to improve supply chains and the ports in California?

Well, we did a review of actual results so far.
2) October 13, 2021, Joe Biden delivered widely carried remarks about specific actions his administration was taking to increase operations at the Port of Los Angeles (POLA) and the Port of Long Beach (POLB).

3) White House fact sheet is HERE, “announcing a series of public and private commitments to move more goods faster, and strengthen the resiliency of our supply chains, by moving towards 24/7 operations at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.”

(1) Christmas 2021 in Kentucky:

Yes, there was a family ... they will have a forever memory about how God’s people came together to help.

The community knows that we were there as were a lot of other groups. These things are indeed important but there is another thing....
(2) We often forget that we are a larger community than our hometowns and churches. We looked at each other as God’s workers, sent by God to do a work for God.
(3) We did not discuss doctrines or systems or ecclesiastic orders. God brought us together and what I saw was only one thing, God at work.
