0/ We couldn't be more excited to announce that we, @Delphi_Digital, are co-leading Fan Controlled Sports Entertainment’s @fcflio Series A with @Animocabrands.

This is a wild one so buckle up.
1/ FCSE’s first product is Fan Controlled Football - a fan-controlled sports league in which fans call the plays.

Yes, with real players and real fans.

Behind the insanity lies a vision that has the potential to entirely reshape entertainment and fan experience as we know it.
2/ It's best to view FCSE as an entertainment company and not a sports league.

An entertainment company acutely curated for Web 3.0 with a video-game-like sports experience as its core product.
3/ FCSE takes a bottom-up approach in reinventing the game and fan experience specifically tailored to the next generation of entertainment.

Including:
🔹Gamification
🔹Fan ownership/agency
🔹Interactivity
🔹Parasocial relationships
🔹Unique experiences

Let's touch on a few 👇
4/ Web 3.0, Gamification and the Phygital nature of FCF.

First, let's highlight a few trends.

People are spending more time online and we have seen more nuanced tactics, both psychological and financial, in the warfare for attention making users increasingly fickle and erratic
5/ The shift to digital makes users, as a whole, less tied to physical locations, and more so to online relationships (celebrities, influencers, games, etc).

FCF plays with these trends, while also carving an unpopulated niche in the Phygital realm - combining the best of both.
6/ The human reaction towards athletic feats bound by earth’s physics simply can not be emulated in eSports - while aspects can be equally if not more impressive.

There is something to be said about witnessing @JayT23 methodically dissecting an opponent's defense.
7/ On the other hand, there are aspects of online games, in which, interactivity is unmatched.

With FCF, we have a blend of both; a chess match with pieces in the physical and the player in the digital creating a product far different from existing mediums.
8/ Without going in-depth - there are a lot of advantages available for FCF by designing their game around Web 3.0 and not vice versa.
9/ Just to name a few:

🔹The allure of true fan ownership (good luck with that in traditional sports)

🔹The more effective monetization of tribalism that scales revenue with viewership

🔹The gamification of loyalty.
10/ Traditional sports certainly have their moats, but they can not compete with this model as users change.

We plan to design the CTRL token to heavily lean into these aspects and we can't wait to share what we have in store.
11/ Lastly, it's important to highlight that from first contact, @Sohrobf articulated this vision with energy and insight not many founders have. It was both palpable and exciting.

Stay tuned for a @PodcastDelphi we have in the books on FCF in January.
12/ FCF is simply just the beginning. Fan Controlled Everything is coming.

We couldn't be happier to help Sohrob, and the entire FCF team/community, bring about the future of sports entertainment. This is going to be fun!
