"We will continue to take action"
"We are responding quickly to these reckless Covid-19 breaches"
"Those who continue to flout rules are putting others at serious risk"
"#LondonTogether"
Definitively my favourite.
"Anyone who chooses to flout the rules, and are consciously making decisions which put lives at risk – should expect to have enforcement taken against them."
Funny that I see no mention of Sue Gray's inquiry.
A 100 people gathering to party
"It is deeply concerning and irritating that people are still willing to break the rules and put the health of Londoners at risk."
Now compare and contrast
"This illegal gathering was an insult to those hospitalised with COVID, our NHS staff and everyone staying at home to protect them. Now just give your heartfelt apologies and the police won't enforce the rules to save lives."
Reminder: These people also set an illegal VIP lane to fill their pals' pockets in exchange of dearly needed overpriced and faulty equipment, putting lives at risk, and are now moving to ban your right to protest and gerrymander elections.
Have a good day (while you still can)

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
I’ve just listened to like 50 new songs and every single one is at best blah, at worst atrocious
To the point my headset going out of battery was a relief
Give me something good?
My tastes range from Värttinä to Wu-Tang Clan
(Don’t care about the style if the song is good)
Please pretty please I need to take a break from the state of the world now
Note I’ll only comment on what I like
Thanks anyway if you send me something I don’t like, you know, tastes and colours - maybe mine are sh*t, what do you know 😉
Piano update
(Mum got me a piano repair for Xmas)
Turns out it needs 10 hours of work to be rescrewed and reset entirely!
(So it's no wonder I didn't manage to do that by myself)
But hey, work underway!
Apparently it was about to disassemble itself entirely
Nice repair lady: "When was the last time someone attended it?"
Me: "Well, I've had it for 10 years... No, wait, 20... Not sure when my grand-father had it done before I inherited it. Could be 25, 30 years."
Nice repair lady:
I had forgotten what “something 🎉*GREAT*🎊 just happened!” felt like
Update: 6 year old is back at 40.5 C
I *hate* Covid
Pretty much as much as I hate senseless policies that did not made ventilation indoor the norm since 2020, Covid denial "freedom to infect" shadowy funders and that stupid "it should be alright if we say so" nonsense rhetoric
Doliprane isn’t cutting it -still at 39.8
Got some ibuprofen for tonight
In the meanwhile the bath is going wonders
He’s smiling, playing
Best I’ve seen it all day
F*ck
Kid just woke up with a nose bleed
Bye ibuprofen
(Fever’s down but hey)
