Omicron, England: Paediatric Intensive Care rose by 29 kids in just 11 days over the start of Dec, according to NHS figures: reaching 85% capacity up from 81% at the end of Nov. A whopping 575 kids were in ICU on Dec 10.

By the 10th of December: 575 kids are in PICU: a rise of 29 kids in just 11 days: 85% capacity.
However, despite record high numbers admissions in kids by at least double: the surge apparently starts to decline: as of the last date reported: 26 Dec: 507 kids in PICU.

What we see then, quite clearly, is the start of the surge: yet somehow magically, despite the fact 4-6x more kids are admitted now than a months ago: the PICU numbers go down.
Isn't that interesting? We know that NHS staff are being threatened for declaring critical incidents, so we can only help but wonder what else they are threatened about: for instance, reporting correct information on Hospital numbers.
