📊New figures show that police have been called 4,000 times to London’s hospitals over the past two years.
🚨In just 10 months of 2021, the Met Police was called over 2,000 times to just five hospitals in London.
🚔This led to 56 arrests across the sites in 2021, with almost half of these at St Thomas’ Hospital.
🚑There were another 650 physical assaults on London ambulance staff last year, the highest in five years.
😷These shocking figures come as a London health chief warns that Covid crisis is “not over yet” as case rates remain “phenomenally high”.
