An anti-masker flipped out when asked to wear one in a store with posted requirements for all customers today. He screamed “GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH!” I told him Patrick Henry didn’t give him a license to give other people death because he wouldn’t sacrifice any liberties
He clearly had no idea who he was quoting or what context the quote was even from (shocker)
And exactly what liberty do you believe you’re being forced to sacrifice by wearing a mask in a store? You don’t have the liberty to infect, harm, threaten, jeopardize, intimidate, sicken, or potentially kill others because you find something inconvenient or uncomfortable. Enough
Like even the guy who said that didn’t want death and had a much different idea of what a lack of liberty was than you. He found the notion of being “ruled by the British” a fate worse than death. If all they wanted him to do was wear a mask,he’d have likely put it on and shut up
