Need wings for the smoker for tomorrow’s Bills game. Sprouts, Safeway, and Whole Foods near the house are out. Can I get a ruling on crossing the picket line at King Soopers for this kind of dire emergency?

The number of folks taking this thread seriously is really something to behold. Do you think people who grew up in Western New York cross picket lines? I’d be eating those wings alone. Along with every other meal for the rest of my life.
While we’re on the topic, @JonCaldara called me yesterday while I was driving and I asked him to hold on so that I could beep for the King Soopers picket line. I could hear him melting on the other end of the line. 😭

NEW: Colorado's Democrats in the US House are calling for a DOJ Inspector General investigation of prior law enforcement contacts with the extremist who killed five people in Denver/Lakewood as outlined in his alt-right revenge novels.
"We have serious concerns regarding the sharing of information and the response of law enforcement officials and whether it was adequate, timely and thorough," read the letter from @RepPerlmutter, @RepJasonCrow, @RepDianaDeGette, and @RepJoeNeguse.
Denver Police acknowledge being tipped off the shooter a year prior to the killings but said there was not enough evidence to build a case.

The Humane Society of Boulder Valley provided care and boarding for pets rescued from the fire. And @HumaneBoulder is covering the cost to board pets for families who can't bring them to temporary housing. And providing food and supplies to impacted families. ImageImage

"Patients in cardiac arrest with an initial rhythm of ventricular fibrillation should have limited efforts at resuscitation including CPR, electrical defibrillation and
ACLS drugs," per the Crisis Standards of Care guide.
Under Crisis Standards of Care, EMS is directed to only transport the most severe cases. The criteria for not transporting patients under the age of 60 is below.

This is astonishing good news given the speed and scope of the fire. No known deaths.

Police in Lakewood, CO just released this photo of Agent Ferris who, while wounded, shot and killed the mass shooter who had ranted online about the weakness of women.
Agent Ferris was shot in the abdomen and is recovering in the hospital. "If not for the heroic efforts of Agent Ferris and other law enforcement, this incredibly violent tragedy could have been even worse," Lakewood Police said in a written statement.
The shooter, whose misogynist alt-right novels and writings urged the subjugation of women to "alpha" males, killed five people and injured several more Monday. He was declared dead on the scene after being shot by Agent Ferris.
