Today I’m announcing my campaign for Congress! It’s time to finish the job we started and make sure our community gets its fair share in Washington — just as I always have.
I’m ready to get to work to deliver on what really matters — like Medicare for All, living wages, environmental justice for polluted communities, criminal justice reform, and securing our democracy and the voting rights of every single one of us.
We’ll make the wealthy finally pay their fair share, so we can start bringing down the cost of living for our families.
We’re organizing a grassroots movement all across #MD04. Join us by chipping in anything you can. #mdpolitics#demcast
There should be a way to critique misguided policy of the previous administration to illustrate ways in which a new one would do things differently. Only in this Trump-crazed environment is a legit critique turned into an “attack.”
There is no comparison between Obama and Trump on immigration, but the deportation policy was flawed. Democrats should reclaim the high road on immigration by reminding voters that under Obama we had bipartisan support for comprehensive reform with a pathway to citizenship.
These efforts were blocked by Paul Ryan and John Boehner. On health care, I want to get to universal coverage quickly but IMHO you don’t don’t get there by burying the Affordable Care Act—it took moving mountains to pass and losing the House majority in the process.
