As previously announced, starting Nov 8, travelers from Mexico and Canada who are fully vaccinated for #COVID19 may enter the U.S. for non-essential travel via land and ferry ports of entry.
The timing of this change is aligned with the new international air travel system that will also be implemented in November.
Restrictions continue to apply to non-essential travelers who are not fully vaccinated.

The Homeland continues to face a diverse and challenging threat environment leading up to and following the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks as well religious holidays we assess could serve as a catalyst for acts of targeted violence.
These threats include those posed by domestic terrorists, individuals and groups engaged in grievance-based violence, and those inspired or motivated by foreign terrorists and other malign foreign influences.

Today, Acting Secretary of Homeland Security @DHSMcAleenan signed a cooperative agreement regarding the examination of protection claims with the Minister of Government of Guatemala, Enrique Antonio Degenhart.
The agreement, signed at the @WhiteHouse, will fundamentally change the flow of irregular migration throughout Central & North America by enhancing protection capacity in Guatemala.
The two nations have a strong partnership, rooted in a shared commitment to advancing prosperity & economic growth in the region, & to achieving a stable and secure Central America.
