Outstanding enterprising long take by Jane Mayer. She cites Ginni Thomas’s role as chair of weekly meetings of “Groundswell” where Ali Alexander was a participant. It’s a secret, by invitation only group waging “a 30 front war seeking to transform the nation.”
Ginni also co-hosted a “Remember the Ladies” Banquet, part of symposium in 2010 that featured Stewart Rhodes as a speaker. Rhodes pleaded not guilty to storming the Capitol on 1/6. She is involved in so many groups connected to cases coming before SCOTUS, it’s hard to keep track.
Ginni Thomas was 1 of 63 prominent Conservatives who wrote to Kevin McCarthy on 12/15/21 asking him to ex-communicate Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger because of their participation on the 1/6 Committee.
One thing that is abundantly clear from reading Jane Mayer’s outstanding reporting is what we knew 30 years ago, Clarence Thomas does not belong on the Supreme Court.
