Guys; has promised, if you know anyone preparing for an interview with a proposed supervisor, gather here and let me teach you something innovative.

Let's go:

Do you know it will be superb impressive if you can make a mini PowerPoint before you engage with any supervisor on your plans and things you know about his lab?

I think it will make an incredible impression on the supervisor as it will give him a mental image of your

capabilities and it will sell you well.

Being innovative is key in this journey.

So, what should be in the PowerPoint:

1. Introduce yourself
2. Discuss your research Interests
3. Explain what you have done and what you currently do (related to the Prof's work)

4. Explain how your research interest relates to the Prof's work.
5. Explain why you chose the school/scholarship.

N.B: Make sure you use more images than words. Use images that will enable you to remember the 5 points above 👆.

Then, let the body of the email be enticing to let the Prof. know that you are looking forward to the meeting.

Send the slide a few days before your appointment and let him/her

If you do this well and Pray, you have Won.

After you have done this, start preparing for the main meeting using the ideas discussed here by @drhammed:
