But uhh sure actually the real story is some random guy who may or may not be an FBI informant. Argle bargle DEEP State! Unconstitutional! Liz Cheney!!!
Absolutely hilarious how all of the anti-anti-Trump 'pundits' have like 50+ tweets mocking the hysterical libs for being 'so dead wrong' about saying Trump wanted to overturn the results of the election. Legit too many to screenshot. And yet, still act as if they're vindicated.
The amount of data you have to ignore by burying your head in the sand (or like Glem, just going 'lalala whatabout Liz Cheney Dems love her I cant hear you lalala') to maintain that you were right about their being no 'coup' attempt is truly astronomical.
I feel like nearly every time the Dems warn that *insert GOPer* is going to be an extremist and point out the policy they actually support, the media calls them 'hysterical', voters don't believe it and then.....they do exactly what they were obviously going to do all along.
Dems were right...oh well. Moving on to the next time, where we'll mock the candidate who brings up as "Mark Uterus" and pretend like the Dem candidate is falsely painting this normal, moderate guy as bad, so voters shouldn't be worried at all.
But hey... at least VA voters got rid of CRT in schools. Progress.
I just don't understand how the people- & it's always the same exact people- don't get outrage fatigue from the constant outrages at all these benign, throw-away comments or like 6-second hard-edited clips posted by like the RNC comms guy. It just seems all so incredibly tiring.
And then you search it & see endless tweets from guys named like F. John Daniel Davidson IV & the literal stereotype of out-of-touch Hollywood elite Susan Sarandon doing some performative, 'The Dems just keep proving their contempt for the common man' and it's all just so sad.
Like I said, it's always the same thing: Leftists and the entire RW: Hannity, the RNC and a bunch of people with #M4A in their profiles, who loudly insist to anyone around that, 'they only care about the issues.'
It's pretty easily explainable, Glem. It's blindingly obvious to anyone with half an ounce of critical thinking skills that the MAGA RW is not 'anti-war', they just see Putin's Russia as a white, Christian authoritarian ally against the Dems (& the West).
Also, I am a serious anti-war/anti-imperialist activist and I am, yet again, caping hard for an imperialist Russia (whom I do NOT support) invading its neighbor. The Dems who say this is wrong? They're actually bloodthirsty Neocons. Let the imperial power invade...for peace!
Sigh. It's seemingly ever fcking day where a distorted, context-less RW clip goes super-viral, getting shared by both LWers & RWers alike. It's depressing as hell to see it happen over & over again. This site is just a magnet for dishonesty & it feels quite helpless to stop it.
The context of this clip, which is from 2020 (that's resurfaced as if it was said today) was basically a(n inartful) point about the reach of media today- 'people have cellphones to film things and those images get spread worldwide on social media'.
He was very obviously not saying that George Floyd had more of a worldwide impact than MLK, as the bad faith RW bullshit wants you to believe. But like a few 100 people will see this context & the original has already been RTed like 10,000 times, so *chuckles* everything is cool!
Well TIL that Dan Bongino is one of the investors in the (not a RW outlet) Rumble, which makes a lot more sense why Greenwald, who's on the Rumble gravy train, went so hard defending him in the face of that thorough New Yorker profile.
Imagine how furiously angry Glem would be if some other 'journalist' didn't disclose that they had financial incentive tied to the guy who they were writing about. Why, it's almost as if his 'everyone is corrupted but me, the last true principled man' is utter hogwash.
One of the only moderately humorous parts of 1/6 was watching Greenwald & Tracey's 'the Libs are being hysterical about the threat of violence' narrative get destroyed in real time.
2 minutes later, a brief moment of realization that he goofed up.
"uhh ok I uhh guess it's just a little more energetic now."
And then after a brief quiet he just went righttt back to tone-policing 'the not-a-coup you hysterical libs' narrative (instead of just saying, 'I was wrong'), even as it was taking place in front of everyone's eyes. Such a good little not-a-Trumper.
