Why would this purification procedure be applied to RaTG13’s sample but not any of the other samples of the same type and uploaded around the same time?
2. Mutations in the Spike protein of RaTG13
This recent paper argues that mutation from T to R at position 403 in RaTG13’s spike is essential for allowing it to infect human cells:
Spike residue 403 affects binding of coronavirus spikes to human ACE2
Logically therefore, were "they" to generate a consensus sequence virus (even within the RsYN06-RaTG13 clade) as has been suggested by some, it would surely have an R at that position...
Position 403
Without knowing what "they" have (or "had") in their dearly missed database, which may have been used to generate a consensus sequence, we can’t know what sequence it would produce.
but we can be reasonably sure that it would have an R, not a T at position 403...

On Dec 18, 2021 workers at NagaWorld casino hotel began striking to protest management's forced mass redundancy of over 1,300 workers that left many destitute.
Police arrested Chhim Sithar for leading the massive strike against NagaWorld casino.
Furin cleavage site data and discussion included. Identical sequence stretch on S. cerevisiae chromosome XIII identified and suggested as potential recombination donor for the furin site insert in the SARS-CoV-2 spike glycoprotein
3. Revised version 3 includes new data regarding the origin of the unusual FCS in SARS-CoV-2. Indeed, with these new data & evidence, it suggests that this critical site is the product of a recombination event after synthetic passage in genetically manipulated S. cerevisiae cells

Gérard returned in July 1584 with 2 wheel-lock pistols.
William was having dinner.
After he left and walked downstairs, van Uylenburgh heard Gérard shoot William in the chest at close range.
Gérard fled immediately
Gérard fled through a side door and ran across a narrow lane, pursued by Roger Williams.
Gérard had almost reached the ramparts, from which he intended to jump into the moat. On the other side a saddled horse stood ready.
A pig's bladder around his waist was intended to help keep him afloat. However, he stumbled over a heap of rubbish. A servant and a halberdier of the prince who had raced after him caught him.
