Today, America marks nearly half a century since the courts affirmed the Constitutional right of every woman to have the freedom to make her own decisions about her body, health and family. But, Roe v. Wade now faces its most alarming threat in decades.
States like Texas & Missouri have enacted draconian abortion restrictions. And, after allowing the dangerous SB8 to proceed, the Supreme Court could potentially strike a devastating blow to Roe when it rules on Dobbs v. Jackson.
In the face of an all-out assault, @HouseDemocrats are leading the charge to defend reproductive freedoms. In September, the House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would ensure every person can make their own health decisions — and it must be enacted immediately.
