#Saptarishis
They were assigned to be present thru the 4 Great Ages,to guide the human race.These 7 sages worked closely with the Adi Yogi or Shiva to maintain the balance on Earth.They were the mind born sons of Lord Brahma assigned to serve as representative of Brahma himself.

Saptarishis are also known as Brahmarishis bcs they have now gained all knowledge abt Brahman.

Rishi Vishwamitra:
He was the only sage who was appointed as one of the Saptarishi by Brahma on the basis of his merit alone as one cannot become a Brahmarishi just on basis of merit.

Vishwamitra sat in meditation and performed austerities for tens of thousands of years. Credited as the author of most of the Mandala 3 of Rigveda, he also wrote Gayatri Mantra. Born as a Chandravanshi Prince, son of King Kusha, Rishi Vishwamitra was a valiant warrior.

According to Hindu scriptures, the world is made up of four main “Yugas” -also known as ages, epochs or cycles of time – each made up of tens of thousands of human years. These 4 yugas are namely:

Satya Yuga
Treta Yuga
Dwapara Yuga
Kali Yuga

According to the laws of Hindu cosmology, the Universe is created wholly, only to be destroyed entirely once in every “4.1 to 8.2 billion” years! This is believed to constitute one full day and night for Lord Brahma, the Creator of the Universe.

One of Brahma’s lifetime is considered to be around 311 trillion and 40 billion years! These Yugas are believed to repeat themselves in cyclical patterns, much like the waxing and waning of the moon; like the four seasons; like the rising and ebbing of tides!

Goddess Parvati is the benevolent aspect of the ultimate female form of mother Devi. As per Shiva Purana, Parvati was reincarnation of Sati. Being the daughter of the mountain King Himawan and Queen Mena, she is also known as "daughter of the mountain".

She was drawn to Shiva since she was a little kid. On her birth, Sage Narad had predicted, no matter what she will marry only Lord Shiva. As she grew, her love for Shiva knew no bound. To marry him, she went to the forest and performed rigorous tapas.

She gave up all food, water, eating not even a leaf, earning the admiration of forest ascetics who named her Aparna.
Aparna matched Shiva in her capacity to cut herself from the world & completely master her physical needs.The power of her tapas shook Shiva out of his meditation.

If we look back at the 12-yr period between 2002 - 2014, we'll clearly understand why Mr. Modi rcvd so much public adulation and support. Since independence, Congress had continued to govern Gujarat as part of the Bombay State....

until 1960, when the state was bifurcated as Maharashtra & Gujarat. It continued to rule Gujarat until 1990,when the Janata Dal-BJP coalition replaced it under Chimanbhai Patel of JD. Congress,as we know,didn't take such defeats lightly then. The coalition broke after only 2yrs.

Chimanbhai did a 'ghar wapsi' to ally with Congress. BJP came to power on its own in 1995 with Keshubhai Patel as the CM. Soon, Shankar Singh Vaghela staged one of the biggest coups the party had seen, by creating a split in BJP and became CM in 1996 with support from Congress.

There's a story about Narada Muni. Once a Brahmana asked him,“Oh, you are going to meet the Lord? Will you pl ask Him when I'm going to get my salvation?”
Narada agreed and said,“I shall ask Him.”
As proceeded, he met a cobbler who was sitting under a tree.

The cobbler too asked Narada, “Oh, you are going to see the Lord? Will you please inquire of Him when my salvation will come?”

When Narada Muni went to the Vaikuntha, he fulfilled their request. He asked Narayana about the salvation of the brahmana and the cobbler.

Narayana replied,“After leaving the body, the cobbler shall come here to me but the brahmana will have to remain there for a number of births.I don't know when he's coming.”

Narada Muni was astonished for a moment and he finally said,“I can’t understand the mystery behind this."
