So there is a leak in the basement that created a short circuit that took down the boiler -until Monday AT BEST.
It’s -10 at night (our 3 tiny electric heaters mean we won’t froze but that’s about it)
Ofc i have the kids -&work
My hedgehog crêpe express my current mood quite well

Just gathered all the plants in the appartement in the one room that can be heated aside from the kids’ room
We have a forest now

Oh, and no hot water…
Me (and my neighbours) right now

F*ck we lost 2 degrees already

And as I get back to work after checking the (freezing) temperature in the (unheated & badly isolated) kitchen and my (unheated & badly isolated) bedroom, Windows screensaver asks me :
"Do you know what the coldest temperature ever recorded is?"

Yeeeaahhhh we’re back at 18 degrees in the heated parts of the house!

Unfortunately we’re at 12/13 in the other parts of the house (my room and my office included) and now I’m sick (temperature contrast effect I guess)
I just hope it can be fixed tomorrow
(That and as a renter I’m paying for the heating I don’t get *and* electrical heating)
