Into #schcom0125 questions/comments. FAA is the Franklin Arts Academy, a school approach within the school. Enables students to take larger arts program classes/studies. Q how does the enrollment work? Teachers make recommendations, students get to enroll with Guidance

Students will pick courses, allows the school to then build the schedule and determine needs to deliver. #schcom0125 the adults at FHS care about kids, there is a tremendous level within the building, I have seen that Principal Hanna

Q to expand more on the input for these adjustments? A - starts with department heads to align with the needs of the students. A lot of the schedule is stamped by graduation requirements #schcom0125

We do have more clubs than most other schools so that helps with development of the overall offering. #schcom0125 we were in survival mode most of the fall, so I wasn't expecting so much creativity and am happy to see what we got

Trying to develop the college entry dual enrollment for those who may not have considered college at all. Looking to see what options and adjustments are available and what might be possible. #schcom0125

Discussion only, COVID #s in packet, positivity still high last Thursday, #schcom0125 following vaccine info, some increases week over week, mostly among older kids, quarantine absences still high, 15% students, 12% faculty on individual days last week; only 6% today

Contact tracing consuming hours, not seeing benefits from it, test/stay also supports this, #schcom0125 COVID is everywhere so we need to change our approach, notice sent today, 2 tests/kit, testing weekly, faculty testing Weds, would continue to do symptomatic testing

Contact tracing and test/stay would stop being replaced by this testing introduction. #schcom0125 curriculum coverage is tricky, with folks in/out, etc. Priority of subs to mid/elem over high school. Testing for students and staff. DESE language is FDA authorized
