How does California's Task Force on Reparations work?

Here's a recap from @TheBayKQED (from October)

From Public Comment: Aleta Toure, from Richmond shares an idea for a "Black Box" project — get a table and have a black box to record and share stories.

What are the issues people have had? Such as The Refinery in Richmond.
From Public Comment:
“White folks like me need to dig in… Better late than never," said Mr.Brody.

He shared how he wrote a song and created a video.
Chad Brown, also a @cjecofficial member and member of @naasdorg says: "if we are going to be reparationists, we also must be abolitionists."

Points to ACA 3 written by Brown, need for disaggregating data and the importance of recognizing the flaws of national legislation.
Context on ACA 3: asmdc.org/press-releases…
Frequent commenter @GainesKash points to electric vehicles and the idea of Black Americans becoming the solar generation.

He also shared how one Black man who worked at @Tesla received financial compensation after being called the N-word.
Virginie Ladisch, (@VirginieLadisch) from @theICTJ shares that the organization she works for is also open to assisting the task force and providing assistance in what has been done before and what might be best to avoid: ictj.org/about
