Elias was driving everything bit trying hard to remain on the shadows.
One obvious explanation is that sussmann being an ex doj insider would be a better in with fbi. But it could have been more an exercise of trying to just keep $hit off his shoes.
Which brings me back to "when" Elias testified. If before the Sussmann indictment, it means Elias wasn't privy to the full enchilada of what Durham knew as laid out in his speaking indictment.
Gonna be real interesting to see how Sussmann reacts when he gets to see what Elias said under oath, especially if he threw Stuntmann under the bus and lied.

Apparently someone realized Robert mueller's handbasket to hell had a sidecar, and after already deleting multiple phones he better just let his Twitter sit😉
Speak up andy! Any words say can and will be held against you!
That's what you thought was fair a few years ago right?
So now that 2022 is upon us let's review who else is "laying low", will we?
It's always seemed to me by October 4th, 2016 there was a consensus that J.A. was about to drop some new Hillary material. On the same day G2 drops fake fabricated clinton foundation docs....
2 days later when the podesta emails emerge, the Clinton campaign officials were pre-prepared with talking points that the media should ignore because as G2 has just recently shown, documents are often fabricated.
The problem is that the only people who really had a clue what it was wikileaks was about to drop was Clinton campaign; they'd known all along about podestas emails being hacked.
Now ask yourself why Dolan who was "carter page on steroids" didn't have a fisa wrapped around his neck like carter page did? Perhaps an FBI lawyer didnt change the wording on his operational status with the CIA?
Seems like the type of thing you'd report to a handler😉
Michael Sussmann wore one too many hats and it will be his downfall, or a silver lining if he chooses wisely...
Sussmann prepped the dnc, the dccc, the clinton campaign, twatter, and served as the liason from those groups interacting with the FBI and Crowdstrike, and serving as a firewall between Crowdstrike and the fbi.
That's just way too many irons in the 🔥 to keep track of lies and explain what is going on betweeen A,B, C, D, and E.
This guys communications have to be an f'n goldmine.
1) One overlooked nugget I haven't seen reported to this date can be found in the Sussmann docket.
Its in docket#17 attached to the request for a bill of particulars, at the end of the text of a proposed order.
2) For the longest time it was a mystery where Durham was working out of. It had been suggested he had rented space somewhere in DC but it was never listed anywhere.
3) But Sussmann included the address in the text of the proposed order, so it is a mystery no more:
