Various Significant Weather events occuring across the globe 🌍 as of today .What's in store for India?🧵

1.Snowstorm #Elpis has bought enormous snowfall to Turkey ,Israel ,Greece ,and now moving eastwards. Will reach Northwest India as a Strong Western Disturbance on 2nd Feb.

A cyclonic circulation will form over Rajasthan , and interaction of the southeasterlies from the bay with southeasterlies along the WD..will bring moderate to heavy rains/hailstorms for Punjab , Uttarakhand,Delhi ,Haryana,Uttar Pradesh , Chhattisgarh ,East Vidarbha ,JH,OR,WB.

3.After the Western Disturbance passes , cold wave likely over most parts of India with #Mumbai recording a minimum of 12-14°C on 4th-5th Feb. Pune ,Nashik too will have cool days ,with all cities of Maharashtra having maximum temp varying around 22-26°c.

4. While Countries in the northern hemisphere struggle with relentless coldwaves , Countries in the South Hemisphere are facing Heatwaves🌡️ ,South Africa and Australia are experiencing record hot temps 🥵 ..with some places exceeding 43°c.

5.Madagascar ,an island country of Africa, recently got devastated with a Strong Cyclone Ana ,with relief work currently in full swing.
But Next storm 'Batsirai' will again affect the island next week adding more to their woes.

6 . As #Russia - Ukraine conflict is getting imminent in next few weeks...The region experiences the most severe cold wave of the season.

7. The United States of America , particularly the Eastern Coast faces snowstorm and Blizzard like conditions as #BombCyclone brings record snowfall and cold there.

8. There's one more Storm Corrie , bringing Gale force winds and Rains to parts of THE United Kingdom , with winds exceeding 110kmph.
