Isaiah 58:9 MSG
Then when you pray, God will answer. You'll call out for help and I'll say, 'Here I am.'

*When God Shows Up -Day 1*

*Luke 7v11-17 MSG*
Talks about a widow, whose life was filled with losses & misery. She lived in Nain.
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
She had no name.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผHer misery was used to describe her.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผMisery had indeed wrapped itself round her like a fitted garment. She was only identified as *THE WIDOW OF NAIN*
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
She had lost her hubby, probably a few months or years back, & now, her only son was gone.๐Ÿ˜ฅ
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
Nonetheless, this widow of
Nain proceeded to bury her only son.
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
There were people there pretending to be mourning, meanwhile, they were gossiping amongst themselves..๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ"When did she lose her husband that we are once again burying her only son?

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผAre we sure she is not a witch?

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผIs she the only
one in town?
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
From one tragedy to another.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผGod must be punishing her for her sins."
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
By this time too, the grave diggers were waiting. They had completed the task of digging the sons grave, & only waiting to be paid their balance

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผThe mourners at the graveyard were
waiting too, but, suddenly, the Lord saw her...felt her pain & showered her with compassion.
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
*Luke 7:14 MSG*
Then He went over and touched the coffin. The pallbearers stopped. He said, "Young man, I tell you: Get up."
*Luke 7:15*
The dead son sat up and began talking.
Jesus presented him to his mother.
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผGod Himself showed up when all hope was lost.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผThen, her joy was restored.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผThen, she recovered all.
Jesus Himself did the presentation.

*And V16, really blew my mind*
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
*Luke 7:16*
They all realized they were in a place of holy
mystery, that God was at work among them. They were quietly worshipful - and then noisily grateful, calling out among themselves, "God is back, looking to the needs of His people!"

*This week;*

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผEvery "grave digger" will be disappointed
You will laugh last.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผYou will be
noisily grateful
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผYou will b worshipful
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผYou will be in a place of Holy mystery
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผYou will see God @ work
๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผYou will call out to friends & neighbours, screaming,*God is back*,luking to the nids of His pple, in Jesus name๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ

*When God Shows Up -Day 2*

The whole of *Exodus 14* shows so much intrigues like no other place in the bible.
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
When the Israelites left 430yrs of Image
slavery In Egypt, they breathed a sigh of relief.๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
Their joy was however, cut short when they confronted the reality on ground.๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผThey were in a position that had little or no way out. They were in-between the massive Red Sea & the merciless soldiers of Pharaoh.๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ
๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
They knew it was a dead end & Pharaoh & his army knew it too. There was no way out.๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Exodus 14:3 MSG
"Pharaoh will think, 'd Israelites are lost; they're confused. d wilderness has closed in on them

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿผ Suddenly, God showed up in His Almightiness, in His power, in His Might

"Lord, thanks for showing up, but where were You when we needed You most?"

A "sensible" and justifiable question we sometimes ask

Isaiah 58:9 MSG

Well, this time Lord, you were not around.
You dint "show up" as promised

Mary, one of Lazarus' sisters, knew too well from following Jesus, that He could heal the sick, the possessed, the blind etc, so, when her brother fell ill, there was no other person to call on, but, Jesus, their very dear friend. she then, quickly
sent words to Jesus before things got out of hand, before things became irredeemable.

John 11:3 MSG
ย So the sisters sent word to Jesus, "Master, the one you love so very much is sick."

She was fully persuaded He would leave every other thing He was doing and come running,

Jesus, this is above your "Pay grade"

Luke 8:49b KJV
"...Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master."

I wouldn't blame them for this piece of advice to those who were troubling the Master. Afterall, it was obvious to all, the child was dead

1. They probably didn't really
""KNOW" Jesus.
2. They probably knew or heard He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, healed one or two crippled folks, and the best they probably heard of Jesus was that, when He showed up at Peter's workplace, He did what could be termed as an exceptional miracle. Well,
Elijah did similar stuffs anyways, they said.
3. The knew Jesus to be a gentle and easy going and probably did not show any sign of someone that could raise the dead, someone in the semblance of Elijah who called down fire or Elisha who was a bit temperamental and performed some

WHY SHOOT OUR WOUNDED?
Yes, read that again...Why Shoot Our Wounded?

- Ps. 109:21-31
A Detroit newspaper reportd that a patient in a local hospital was shot and killed as he lay in his bed recovering from a previous gunshot wound. The victim had been listed in fair condition
prior to the shooting and was looking forward to going home. Hospital patients and employees were stunned. A spokesperson said that nothing like this had happened in the 50yrs of the hospital's existence.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could say the same for our churches?
Wouldn't it be encouraging if we were able to say that in 50yrs of meeting together for worship, fellowship and spiritual healing, we had not had a single instance of a wounded member being cut down by the unkindness of a fellow Christian?

Many among us have experienced the

(There is a point God is making here. Do you catch His drift?)

2Con 9v6-11 TPT

6. Hereโ€™s my point. A stingy sower will reap a meager harvest, but the one who sows from a generous spirit will reap an abundant harvest.

7 Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of
religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of givingโ€”all because God loves hilarious generosity!

8 Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everythingโ€”every moment and in every way. He will make
you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.

9 Just as the Scriptures say about the one who trusts in him: Because he has sown extravagantly and given to the poor, his kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten.

10 This generous God who supplies abundant

Isaiah 58:9a MSG
Then when you pray, God will answer. You'll call out for help and I'll say, 'Here I am.'

Each time I read the passage above, I am tempted to visualize God showing up, as in, really showing up.

Don't know if you sometimes feel that way too.

What will it look Image
like if God Himself shows up in His Glory, Splendor, Excellence, Power, Almightiness... seriously, what would it look like?

Imagine trying to size up the one who sits in the heavens and makes the earth His footstool... imagine Him showing up.

Isaiah 66:1 KJV reminds us of whom
we are talking about.
"Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.."

Our brains are not smart enough to put on paper, the size of the Almighty.

And when we try very hard to size Him up, He throws a question at us..

Isaiah 46:5 MSG
"So to whom
