Once again the Liberals are out there with their Lies and it's prudent to bring up the Car Industry at this point and how the Liberals got rid of that. vinceogrady.wordpress.com/2014/01/10/hol…

The decision was made well before the 2013 Election and it was made on Ideological grounds rather than any sound Economic argument. here are a few reasons why. 1/ the Liberal party only like subsidising industries which support them. The car Industry wasn't one of them.

2. it was unionised and they hate unions with a passion. Unions represent workers and the liberals don't. 3. They will tell you that it wasn't financially viable, but they are wrong. In the 40 page Holden submission to the Productivity commission. Holden Stated Australia put in

$1 and they put in $3 and the economic return to Australia was $18. So it wasn't for economic reasons. But the Liberals, especially Joe Hockey were not and are not very good money managers. 4.They put in a process through the productivity commission and the day after Holden gave

their evidence to that commission, they called on Holden to submit to staying in Australia, despite Holden waiting for the outcome of the Productivity commission. The productivity commission hadn't even sent in their interim report which was two weeks away. 5. As a result of

the liberals Intemperate comments in the Parliament (Joe Hockey and Warren Truss as acting PM). Holden decided to leave Australia. 6. because they did then Toyota also closed down. 7. It wasn't just the Car factories that closed, it was the parts manufacturers as well.

8. As well as the loss of an industry decades of Skilled workers (200,000) were put on the redundancy line. 9. The skills basis they had learned at TAFE were no longer required and were shut down. goodness knows how many other industries who supported Car workers were affected

10. According to an Econometric report by the University of Adelaide, $29 billion was taken out of the economy. Conclusion. The Coalition could not manage a piss up in a brewery, even if they were shown how. They are Liars and run by an Ideological bent. They do not represent all

Australians. They are masters of the mean and tricky. These failures by the liberals and the nationals are why we need a decent Labor government. End.
