NOW: Rappler talks to Choco Mucho head coach Oliver Almadro along with new recruits Aduke Ogunsanya and Desiree Cheng about their preparations for the upcoming PVL Open Conference in March.

#RapplerTalk: Image
Almadro talks about bolstering the line up with Choco Mucho adding new players during the off-season.

#RapplerTalk:
Why Choco Mucho? Ogunsanya says she saw the 'sincerity' of the team. "I'm really happy din nakikitaan nila ako ng potential."

#RapplerTalk:
Cheng says the team was "very persistent" when recruiting her. She calls Choco Mucho "one of the best options" for her.

#RapplerTalk:
Almadro says he already knows– even before recruiting them– that Cheng and Ogunsanya's character and talent will "fit in with the system" that they already have in the team.

#RapplerTalk:
Cheng on progress: I want to take it step by step. I just want to get better.

#RapplerTalk:
Ogunsanya says she's still adjusting with the new environment, especially since there are a lot of disruptions the past two years.

#RapplerTalk:
Ogunsanya: 'Yung goal is mag-share ng ideas, mag-share ng talent sa bagong teammates ko ngayon. I'm excited to grow as a player. Mas okay talaga na madami ang pumapasok sa 'yo na information and knowledge.

#RapplerTalk:
Almadro: With these players na may championship experience teaming up, ang gandang tingnan. You're always aiming for greatness. You've got to have good people around you that will challenge you.

#RapplerTalk:
Almadro asked for continuous support, prayers from fans: Expect that...we'll continue showing that character that we have.

#RapplerTalk:
Almadro says he keeps reminding players that being out of their comfort zones– challenging themselves– is 'just a way for you to do more and be better.'

#RapplerTalk:
And that's a wrap! In case you missed it, you can watch this #RapplerTalk episode here:

WATCH: rappler.com/about/intervie…
@chechelazaro @mariaressa .@chechelazaro: When you look back, did you think you’d get this far?

@mariaressa: I had faith that we would, what I didn’t count on was exactly how hard that would be.... being arrested a few times, having to fight for the facts.

#ADecadeOfCourage:
.@mariaressa: But I had faith in the vision that we had, which was to take technology, to have journalists embrace that, and work on what journalism was going to evolve into. #RapplerAt10

@piaranada President Duterte: I view with grave concern an apparent effort at the Senate to put in bad light recent developments involving the Malampaya Gas Field.

This casts undue, undeserved, and unwarranted aspersion on the part of some of our key government officials. | via @piaranada
Duterte: I have seen the report on the sale and purchase of the stock of Chevron Malampaya LLC. Based on this, I am convinced that this was a private transaction between private entities that must be respected. | via @piaranada
