NOW: Rappler talks to Choco Mucho head coach Oliver Almadro along with new recruits Aduke Ogunsanya and Desiree Cheng about their preparations for the upcoming PVL Open Conference in March.
Almadro says he already knows– even before recruiting them– that Cheng and Ogunsanya's character and talent will "fit in with the system" that they already have in the team.
Ogunsanya: 'Yung goal is mag-share ng ideas, mag-share ng talent sa bagong teammates ko ngayon. I'm excited to grow as a player. Mas okay talaga na madami ang pumapasok sa 'yo na information and knowledge.
Almadro: With these players na may championship experience teaming up, ang gandang tingnan. You're always aiming for greatness. You've got to have good people around you that will challenge you.
Almadro says he keeps reminding players that being out of their comfort zones– challenging themselves– is 'just a way for you to do more and be better.'
@mariaressa: I had faith that we would, what I didn’t count on was exactly how hard that would be.... being arrested a few times, having to fight for the facts.
.@mariaressa: But I had faith in the vision that we had, which was to take technology, to have journalists embrace that, and work on what journalism was going to evolve into. #RapplerAt10
