At the request of Trudeau, @GoFundMe has just stolen $9,000,000 from the truckers. Rather than automatically refunding it to the donors, they say they’re going to give it to groups of their own choosing. What a windfall for Black Lives Matter, Greenpeace and Planned Parenthood!
It's a mistake for conservatives to fundraise with GoFundMe. This seizure is foreign interference in Canadian political affairs -- radical leftists in San Francisco are meddling in Canadian politics. And to think that the CBC claimed Putin was the one messing around here.
Trudeau’s government just demanded that the bank account of an opposition group be seized. That’s what they do in Venezuela and Russia. They expropriate their opponents property, seize their assets — and then prosecute them on trumped up charges.
And what a laugh that Trudeau’s CBC state broadcaster had just said that Putin was secretly interfering in the convoy. No, true foreign intervention was by Silicon Valley, only too happy to interfere in Canadian affairs to protect Trudeau.
If you’re having trouble with this, imagine if Stephen Harper had pressured a bank to seize $9M from Greenpeace. No trial, no appeal, no transparency. Just smashing his political enemies. And look; silence, or cheering, from the Media Party.
GoFundMe says they received word from the Canadian government. Can we see it? Or is it a secret smear of the truckers? Or a threat -- or a promise -- to GoFundMe? Why the secrecy? Are they all in on this together?
GoFundMe says the government claims the truckers are violent, or that it's an occupation. No-one is inside any building; they're all on public property. There has been no violence; in fact police say crime is down in the city.
But even if someone was charged with a crime, how does that justify seizing millions of dollars donated by tens of thousands of people, for the benefit of tens of thousands of people? How is this collective punishment justified, either by Trudeau or GoFundMe?
This will not deter the truckers. They've lasted this long without any GoFundMe money. These aren't a left-wing rent-a-mob, like Greenpeace, who only protest as a "job". These are real people, who are there for their freedom. They can't be bought by anyone.
This is how the pandemic/lockdown vaccine passports will work, though. Merge people's health choices (a proxy for their politics) with their digital footprint; link that to their finances, their ability to shop, rent, live. It's China-style social credit.
Earlier today, @OttawaPolice said they were working with Canada's spy agencies to conduct warrantless searches of truckers, including their personal financial information. And they were cheered on by the bulk of the Media Party:
I don't like foreign interference in Canada, from GoFundMe or anyone else. But our country's checks and balances no longer work. Trudeau is acting like a tyrant, destroying his political opposition. I think we need some help, even just from foreign media who aren't bought off.
Outrageous — police publicly cheering on the financial destruction of Trudeau’s political opposition.
1. Trudeau is worried precisely because the trucker convoy is NOT fringe or ideologically extreme. It’s spilled into the broader culture, “normies” who feel that it speaks to them. Let me share some fun trucker convoy TikToks with you as proof.
2. Métis — in fact, the entire convoy was organized by a Métis woman.
3. In the Before Times, she most likely have been a Trudeau voter.
There have been countless online comments about the trucker convoy. Global have hand-picked a few at random from the Internet without actually showing them or verifying who wrote them. (Did Butts and his dirty tricks team? Did Global itself?)
2. The truck convoy is organized by a young Indigenous woman from the west. Many truckers are minorities. Global is owned by @CorusPR, which has just one senior executive who isn't white and just one director who isn't white. (How??) Yet KKKorus is implying the convoy is bigoted.
3. Never trust Global News or Trudeau's CBC state broadcaster or the bail-out newspapers.
They hate you and they lie to you.
They have all prostituted themselves to Trudeau for cash, and they're embarrassed that you know, but not embarrassed enough to give up the money.
1. Zuckerberg-funded AFP "fact checked" this tweet. You can read it here: sports.yahoo.com/misleading-pos… But in fact, they don't actually check my facts. They try to explain them away, which is different. It was an "opinion check", which most so-called fact checks are these days.
2. As you can see in the tweet, I just took a screenshot of a scientific study. It shows that, for whatever reason, vaccine effectiveness of Pfizer & Moderna vaccines against the Omicron variant turns NEGATIVE over time. As in, it's worse than not even having the vaccine.
3. I think it's an interesting story. Researchers say the vaccines have a NEGATIVE effect after 90 days. But even for the first 30 days, it's remarkably ineffective -- just 55% for Pfizer and 37% for Moderna. What's the point?
1. Pointing out how politicians and pundits call for a lockdown (and even arrest) of working class citizens, while breaking the rules in their own lives, is legitimate journalism in the public interest. We’ve done it a dozen times, e.g. FireTory.com.
2. These days, most politicians are unelected — a whole raft of public health deep state officials who were never on any ballot, cannot be fired and have no formal scrutiny (e.g. question period, committee hearings). They’re immune from the checks and balances of democracy.
3. A lot of our new ruling class are doctors, or at least say they’re doctors and wear white lab coats. As the Milgram experiment showed us, put a guy in a lab coat and people will obey. The Nazi doctor trials showed us that too.
1. We have 1,000 domain names with @GoDaddy. They call us a VIP client. We’ve never had a problem in 7 years. Then suddenly, on the eve of a key vote in Australia, they deleted our website opposing a draconian lockdown law — based on a secret complaint. rebelnews.com/scandal_who_fo…
2. The rules for domain names are clear. Our deleted domain KillTheBill.com.au had a “close and substantial connection” to what was on the website (a petition to kill the bill). And it doesn't infringe on anyone’s “personal name or brand name”.
3. We hired Australia’s top media lawyer, @JustinQuill, to engage with @GoDaddy quietly, giving them the benefit of they doubt that they had simply made an honest mistake. Here’s his letter to them: drive.google.com/viewerng/viewe…
