The Republicans used to be interventionist hawks, but now the voices in the party are not. Even if the GOP wins in 2024, it isn’t going to be the Republican party from 5 years ago. It is all culture war now, not economics.
There is a lot of overlap between the right and the left on foreign policy and macro economics.
