1. I learnt about how to get an #internship 6 months before I needed one.
When the time came, I got 5 internship offers waiting for me.
2. I learnt how to get a full time job 3 months before I needed one and while in my final year, I got 2 full time jobs with international companies located at India and Canada respectively.
3. I learnt how to build an MVP 4 months before building one and in 2 months of venturing into development, we are prototyping @PersonaRise already.

Yesterday I was speaking to a group of 10 #youths in the university between 100 - 300 level.
I shared what I would have done if I was to go back to my 100 days.
This trend is my personal views on how I could have been better.

In my 100 level days, I should've engaged in extracurricular activities - community development clubs, leadership, mentorship, problem-solving and capacity building.
Ps: While working, I discovered teamwork and leadership are essential skills needed to thrive at work.

In my 200 level days, I should've engaged in passion discovery and relate my passion with my course of study. I will learn the act of turning passion into business and business into profit.
If I've found my gift earlier, I won't struggle to learn web design 4 years ago.

1. Avoid sharing too many personal details. Things like country, state, DOB, place of birth e.tc. These things are not needed as they take space. Remove them.

2. If you're currently studying, place your education section above your working experince section but graduates should do otherwise.

3. Always think of value. Ensure your resume is projected towards adding values. Values can be measured in #leadership, #revenue, #impact. While writing your experience section follow Stephanie Nuesi CAR method.
