EXCL: New bombshell image shows Boris Johnson with open bottle of bubbly at No 10 Christmas quiz mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…
The Met Police faces fresh calls to investigate No 10 "virtual" Christmas quiz after new picture emerges of PM with bottle of bubbly on desk in front of him...
At the time London was under Tier 2 regulations banning any social mixing between two or more people from different households.
Just two days after the Mirror's initial story, the PM said: “I can tell you once again that I certainly broke no rules."
Barrister @AdamWagner1 says: "In light of the new evidence it now makes no sense for this gathering not to be investigated by the police given that an almost identical gathering in the Cabinet Secretary Simon Case's office two day's later is being investigated."
I've spoken to Tory MPs who are fearful of what evidence the Met does have of No 10 gatherings - if it has decided not to investigate this one.
