📌 | The key to making designs beautiful are colors. They are the eye-catchers & create a sense of mood. Choosing the right color palette for a design isn't easy if you're a beginner, especially for brands.

📍 | So scroll below, as in this thread I have shared a few pointers (& helpful resources) to help you choose the right colors for your brand OR design.

1⃣ | Understand the color theory. First, it's essential for you to understand the color theory to choose a color palette. Read about it here: 👇

2⃣ | Take inspiration off other designer's color schemes. Most professionals really know what they're doing, so it's best to add their color schemes into your designs.

3⃣ | Apply the concept of Color Symbolism. Did you know, that each color has a unique meaning behind them? Read a little more about color symbolism here & apply to your work: 👇

4⃣ | Always choose 3 COLORS for your design. A dominant color (Used for the background/main color), complementary (Text/secondary color) & accent color (Just a hint of it, to add a little bit more color).

5️⃣ | Apply the 60-30-10 color rule in your designs. Use 60% of the dominant color, 30% of the complementary & 10% accent. (context above)
