Chinese culture 101 for South Korea
Not understanding Chinese culture, not understanding the hidden meaning of Chinese cultural symbols, arbitrarily editing the motif of the national flag which China gave Korea (when Korea was China's tributary state) has disastrous consequences. ImageImage
Symbol of is turned into symbol of Chaos.

Historically Korea was a tributary state of China. Korea became independent after China lost the Jiawu war to Japan in 1894.

When the modern national flag concept was introduced, Korea asked the Qing Dynasty to allow them to use the
dragon flag, but the Qing imperial court declined the request, considering inappropriate as Korea was on a lower hierarchy vis-à-vis the central dynasty. Ma Jianzhong, a distinguished scholar and diplomat of Qing dynasty proposed instead in 1882 the classic Chinese
Taiji Bagua symbol as the Korean national flag.

When a British guy saw it, out of aesthetic concern, he arbitrarily suppressed four trigrams of the the octagon symbol. The prosperity symbol was thus turned into a death symbol. Only 4 elements of the 8 elements of
the universe were left, ie, heaven, earth, water and fire. The other four elements thunder, wind, mountain and river were removed. Later, to make the picture prettier, the color of Taiji was also changed to blue and red which are not supposed to. The colors black and white
representing two polars are of essence. They could be changed into each other whereas blue & red can't. Further, the eyes of the yin and yang fish were also removed, thus Yin-yang fish become blind with "eyes without pupils", a literal Chinese idiom meaning look but doesn't see,
ie, devoid of wisdom and insights. That's an absolute faux pas negating the hidden significance of the symbol. The world progresses with the Yin and Yang forces acting upon each other with the divine eyes within as the monitoring intelligence regulating and adjusting
the blind forces. After a series of disastrous massacres, the final shape is what it is today.

When this flag was introduced into the country, it was considered by Taoism to be an unlucky conflicting symbol of "red and blue locked in opposition to each other, water and fire
unable to blend into each other ," but Koreans were proud of it, believing that it represented the Korean people's ideal of always being in harmony with the universe. Actually it's the opposite, it's perpetual incompatible division and infighting.
Later, the historical development of the Korean peninsula confirmed the consequence of the barbaric editing of the original symbol. China gave Korea something infinitely profound and precious. Korea should have treated Chinese cultural symbols with awe instead of tempering
with the sacred symbols. There's such a thing as blasphemy and sacrilege.

Although there are four elements of heaven and earth, water and fire, complete with yin and yang poles, but there is no "fish eye" of conversion and reconciliation. So Korea eventually divided into
red Korea and blue Korea, the two sides fighting tit-for-tat to death.

Then the positions of the four trigrams positions are not right. The orientation of the trigrams is fixed in the Octagon, can't be moved around arbitrarily. On the edited form, heaven and earth are
upside down, water and fire can't be commingled. So one year after they changed the flag, the Korean War broke out and the country split.

I also notice that lower lines were stretched to look better.
Actually if Korea absolutely wants to have four sides, they should switch to
dualgrams Taiyin Taiyang Shaoyin Shaoyang, ie, moon sun female male. A rudimentary universe is created with these four elements combining morphing into each other. These symbols are less complex, have less potential and possibility of creations but at least they guarantee Image
basic stability and order, unlike the current symbol which is a chaotic mess.

The Korean flag is a thorough abomination. Koreans obviously do not understand this, taking ignorance as a personality. They now accuse China of stealing Korean culture, probably Bagua symbol too.
Koreans don't understand the profundity of Chinese culture which was handed down to them. I strongly advise Koreans to show some humility and consult a grand master of Yijing to sort out their national flag barbarity.
BTW, my ideas to correct the Korean flag are copyright protected. South Korea pray don't steal my ideas.

While the whole western world, dominating the global totalitarian propaganda is spitting its venom on China everyday, Bian Qin (边芹), a Chinese writer living in France wrote a beautiful poem dedicated to her beloved Motherland China. A free
translation: Image
To my motherland
I love you
For your thousand years of endless suffering.
For your unending humiliation.
For the sake of those who have forsaken you in droves.
For the sake of those who have defiled you in order rise to fame and fortune.
I love you.
For all the leeches that suck your blood.
For all the moths that corrupt you.
For the endless traitors that betray you.
For the rabid dogs and wolves that bite you everywhere.

A cultivated French insists Arte is objective and neutral about China and recommended to me a prize winning documentary on China on an Ayi (Auntie)'s struggles in Shanghai. Surprised, I asked,"Does this film fit the western narrative of China, ie,

closed, backward, ignorant, poor, mean, repressed, distorted, no individuality, no individual freedom?"

He said, "No, very very positive and very very uplifting.. "

So, I watched. Wow, the light is the BBC filter style, ie, the atmosphere of the underworld...
However this is the most positive West can come up with about China.

This is what an American looks like after decades of CIA propaganda. They are thoroughly lobotomized. Stupid Americans are easier to manipulate. But a nation can't expect retarded stock to excel in science & technology. US has to import undamaged brainpower, especially from China
Another pathetic American specimen.

US must be desperate. They now object to China's presence in South China Sea for environmental reasons. Remember US dropped nuclear bombs in Marshall Islands. Don't see how radioactivity creating Frankenstein sea creatures is green & clean.
BTW, nuclear testing also caused cancer in human creatures. These glorious US deeds are OK.

More excerpt from Chinese writer Bian Qing (边芹)

"Chinese people who have lived or settled in the West for a long time will sooner or later be faced with a choice of which side you are on. No one is openly forcing you, but the deep-rooted anti-Chinese environment
will send Chinese to three camps, the broadest group I call "self-interested", they do not listen, refuse to see, all their energy is spent on fighting and getting ahead for themselves, do not care how the West treats their home country, only struggling for the narrow
space to survive; the second group I call "integrationists", the characteristic of this group of people is that "you hate China, don't you? Then I hate China more than you", "You slap China once, I will slap China thrice". These are the only two ways to live in peace.

France has become a cultural desert. Propaganda permeates every corner, every detail of life. As pointed out by a Chinese writer, a film critic Bian Qing (边芹)

"How much of the mirage of the "independence and freedom" of the French artists and intelligentsia still remains?
The shadow of "political correctness" hangs over almost every area of culture. In the films I am most familiar with, for example, apart from the visible freedom of sex, the control of the system is pervasive, and to the eye that can see, it is all about political domination.
This "political command" is very different from our Chinese understanding of direct slogan shouting, where the "system" is not the government, control is not explicit, but dark, deep subtle manipulation. The Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival

Arte is an European channel broadcasting in France & Germany. When one does a search on China, these titles come up. All are fake news, all are cheap propaganda. Europeans think Chinese are brainwashed and China is a country where truth is censored.
Interesting to note is that many Chinese students go abroad with the conviction that they've been brainwashed in China & the West is where they'll find freedom & objectivity. They discover the reality is the other way around.
If Chinese brainwashing is 3 on a scale of 10, western brainwashing is 10.
