It looks like the Windsor protest is coming to a peaceful end?
Looks like some tensions are rising, as some protestors chant "freedom" while one pleads with police who are gathering and warning of arrests.

New at @techpolicypress: Researchers at GWU and Johns Hopkins have released a preprint study that appears to show evidence of the limited efficacy of Facebook's interventions on vaccine misinformation in its pages and groups. techpolicy.press/researchers-fi…
The study asked four key questions, and used CrowdTangle to source samples of material from pages and groups before and after a Facebook policy on vaccine misinformation announced on February 8, 2021. Image
Perhaps the most significant observation is that while Facebook “appears to have had success in curtailing some anti-vaccine content” after the implementation of its policy, “anti-vaccine content recovered during our period of observation.” techpolicy.press/researchers-fi…

NYT: Jan 6 committee is borrowing techniques from federal prosecutions with tactics typically used against mobsters and terrorists as it seeks to break through stonewalling from Trump and his allies and develop evidence that could prompt a criminal case. nytimes.com/2022/02/05/us/…
I feel this is rather low risk. In fact the investigation has already produced compelling new information?
Kind of threatening remarks from Brand, who no matter his own party affiliation represents a former Trump White House official. Is he aware of other threats of retaliation being made against the committee?

Imagine Donald Trump pardoning the people that bludgeoned the police, the men that had an armory of weapons in Arlington, the men and women that sought to kill his own Vice President.
