Previously featured on WPC, Stewart is...not exactly a theological heavyweight.
The last archive of the TGC author page with Dante listed is July 17, 2021. He was removed sometime between then and August 18, 2021. web.archive.org/web/2021071721…
Trying to figure out what may have triggered this. He was James Cone-posting, James Baldwin-posting, long before they took him off. He was writing for RNS as of January '21.
Womanist-posting as far back as October 2018. May have been that he started talking abt "decolonizing" in spring 2021. Maybe that's the line for TGC.
One last thing: This tweet we're all fussing about is a repost, he first publicly embraced "queer theology" in November of last year (at least on the Bird App) archive.is/z9ahs
