“ On the day that S.D. Burman had booked the studio to record this song for Dev Anand's Tere Mere Sapne in 1970, Bombay's transportation network was shut down because of overnight torrential rains.

None of the musicians could make it to the studio. Only SD Burman, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar and a tabla player were present.

Instead of cancelling the recording, Burman da called Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma & Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia and requested them to help him out with the recording.

Here is the magic created by the santoor, flute, tabla, Lata, Kishore and the genius SD”

“..Filmmakers and film artistes are not educators and teachers. They are concerned with the law of supply and demand. They exist to supply entertainment.

Like any other industry, the film industry must sell its products snd keep up the supply..”
