Retargeting ad types I’ve been using that are killing it lately and helping me stack the cash:
/// THREAD ///
Before we dive in, a little Retargeting 101:
1// A visitor comes to your website
2// Leaves without an action (sale)
3// Your pixel catches their info
4// You release a retargeting ad
5// While browsing, they see the ad
6// They come back to your website
7// They convert
You can retarget with new creatives on the same platform, or retarget cross-channel.
Here are some cool retargeting ads that performed well for my products: 👇
1 - Quizzes
Quiz retargeting ads can be adjusted to work for any type of product.
If you have skincare or makeup stores, for example, you can use quiz ads to offer personalized shopping suggestions.
This gives your customers the illusion of an informed decision and the confidence they need to finish the purchase.
2 - PR backlinks
Press exposure and guest blogging are some ways to leverage referrals and increase conversions.
Reach out to authority websites in your industry and offer to contribute. Or, find a comparison website that will review your product. Get your store’s name out there. It pays off in the long run.
3 - Influencers and UGC
Lately, I love working with micro-influencers who are really good at what they do and have a smaller but more targeted audience. The results are crazy. More than I’ve seen collaborating with 1M+ pages.
Basically, anything that looks like user-generated content, organic, and natural.
4 - Abandoned cart reminders
Don’t forget to hit your abandoned carts with retargeting ads or emails.
Remind them that they left a product in their cart. Create a sense of urgency and FOMO by informing them about the number of items on stock.
Or, use the chance to offer a limited-time discount on their cart items.
Don’t miss these opportunities to close a sale.
5 - Social proof
Customers that visited your store once but didn’t buy anything already like your product. All they need is some trust and confidence that they’re making the right decision.
So, I decided to use social proof as part of my retargeting ads.
For instance, I responded to user comments and questions and made it into a slideshow video. I also showed the unboxing reactions of satisfied customers that just received their product.
These types of social proof ads work incredibly well.
6 - Delivery dates and free shipping
One weird retargeting ad that I honestly didn’t expect to work that well - just add free shipping to your caption and tell them when they will receive the product.
Customers want to know things like this upfront before they bother to add the product to the cart and set up the shipping info.
For instance:
“FREE shipping. Order now and get your product on your doorstep in 5 days.”
7- Discount codes and coupons
Another good content idea for your retargeting ads is to offer limited-time coupons or discount codes.
Discounts are the oldest trick in the book. By offering codes and coupons, people feel like they’re saving instead of spending.
It makes buying something sound like a smart idea or investment.
8 - Gamification
I love to gamify my retargeting ads because it kind of gets rid of the salesy feeling ads typically have.
For instance, organize a giveaway where participants can win “50% off all products” vouchers. Or, if you have a clothing store, develop an app that allows your customers to try your clothes virtually.
Knowing how they will look without trying on a piece of clothing should boost your conversions through the roof.
These are just two ideas out of many. Gamify the whole shopping experience to create an engaged community and enjoy repeat purchases.
9 - Customer retargeting
There’s one group of leads that’s more likely to buy from you than the group that visited your store - your existing buyers.
Think about it, they already bought from you once, so what’s stopping them from buying again?
Unless you f*cked it up with the customer service or sold a sh*tty product, your customers should be the easiest audience for upselling, reselling, and cross-selling.
Be creative - retarget with personalized product offers based on their previous purchase.
Or, offer them an addition to their first product, or an improved version of the product.

Sometimes the simplest things make a huge difference.
Increase your conversions by following these simple *CHECKOUT PAGE TWEAKS* 🧵
#1 - Go to Shopify Themes → Edit code
Go to your Shopify themes and click on “edit code”. Then, choose “Checkout & System”.
#2 - Change the “Pay Now” button
Scroll down to the “Checkout general” section and find the “Pay Now” button label. Now, change the text from “Pay Now” to something like “Complete Order” or “Finish Ordering”.
This sounds much more natural to people, similar to what Amazon uses.
New to TikTok?
Not sure of the competition?
Not sure if there’s a demand for your product?
This MASTER 🧵 is for all TikTok beginners (bookmark it for future reference).
I’ll teach you how to sniff out the competition and launch your first TikTok. Let’s get going!
So, the number one question (by far) that I’ve been getting lately is how to start on TikTok if you have no content and no followers yet. A blank slate.
So, what’s the first thing you should do?
1// Search your niche or product
No matter if it’s TikTok or another social platform, the first thing you want to do is check out your competitors.
On TikTok, the way to do that is by clicking on the search button (up right corner) and typing your product or niche. ⌨️
