๐Ÿงต:#Ukraine: Video appeared today from pro-Russian/DNR forces of the claimed remains of a Ukrainian attack near the #Novoazovsk border crossing, including a destroyed BTR-70M (Which the Ukrainian Forces don't use), but we will focus on a single rifle. Image
Weirdly, it seems the cheap Chinese handguard (atypical for modern UA military guns) is untouched by the fire, which was severe enough to gut the BTR & badly burn the body (blurred).

Hence, we can determine that it is likely that the AK was placed in the BTR just before filming. Image
Even more curiously, the rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 yet has an AKS-74 style folding stock (and latch), plus a barrel nut not a slant brake. Image
This is a key tell of the Ukrainian Mayak factory AK conversions; the MKM-072Sb civilian rifle, or the AKMS-SB military rifle.

These have an AKS-74 style folder conversion with a slight difference in button location to fit the AKM trunnion. An ะœะšะœ-072ะกะฑ is top of the pic here. Image
Some MKM-072Sb were used by semi-irregular forces, such as the Right Sector, back in '14 (See images) during the early stages of the war, before UA forces managed to reorganise. Some were also customised with aftermarket parts.

(See the distinctive button location in Pic1.) ImageImage
However, we have not observed these rifles in service with any branch of UA SOF in recent times.

Hence, the available evidence indicates that this particular gun is likely to have been captured years ago & was used as a prop by for this attempted false flag.

Details matter.

Early morning today, several kamikaze drones were spotted over the Southwestern outskirts of Moscow- so far it's unknown if any of them hit their intended targets.

Some crashed, some were shot down and a couple struck the top of high rise apartment blocks. โฌ‡๏ธ ImageImageImageImage
At least two types of UAVs were used for the attack- one of them can be positively identified as a type that has previously crashed in various regions of Russia. The first crash of the drone of this type was documented in Tula Oblast in March of this year. ImageImageImage
This type of UAV, for example, was used to strike the Ilsky oil refinery near Krasnodar with Ukrainian volunteers later even posting launch footage. ImageImageImageImage

#Ukraine: Today, reports suggested that a Russian Kh-47M2 Khinzal air-launched ballistic missile was shot down by air defences over #Kyiv at 02:40 on May 4th- for the very first time.

The debris matches the unitary warhead assembly used in Kh-47M2 & Iskander-series missiles. ImageImageImage
Further imagery is required to fully confirm the type of the missile - but both Iskander and Kinzhal are ballistic missiles which are regarded as extremely difficult to intercept; except by modern Western AD systems that are entering service in Ukraine.

#Ukraine: A Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 UCAV was shot down by a Ukrainian surface-to-air missile over Kyiv in an example of friendly fire.
And no, it is not the elusive Russian Korsar, of which approximately 3.5 examples exist. Unlike the Korsar the drone shot down completely matches the TB2 including the unfolded landing gear. With the Korsar, the landing gear folds in flight. ImageImageImage
Pretty clear photos of the drone shot down today.

Incidents like this can happen and there is no need to make things up for literally no reason. ImageImage

#Ukraine: T-80BVM "Bunny", the most famous captured Russian tank in Ukrainian service, was destroyed in Bakhmut, #Donetsk Oblast.

The tank was immobilized and damaged by 240mm mortar fire, so was set on fire by its crew to avoid capture by Russian forces. โฌ Image
This tank was captured from the Russian army by the Ukrainian 93rd Mechanized Brigade back in the beginning of March of last year on the outskirts of Kharkiv and was quickly put in action- receiving new improvised ERA side armour. ImageImageImageImage
So far, prior to the loss of the tank, according to the "kill rings" on the barrel and claims from the crew, this T-80BVM managed to destroy at least 6 Russian tanks- one of them being the only T-80UM2 tank in existence. Image

#Ukraine: Ukrainian troops filming the preparation of tank ammo- nothing special at first glance, but the HE-FRAG projectile in the soldier's hands is, in fact, Iranian ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ท 125mm OF19 which can be used with almost all Ukrainian tanks.
In this case, the projectiles can be IDed as Iranian by the standard Iranian packaging seen with other types of ammo of their manufacture, and the completely black rear section/fins of the projectile.
This is the fourth type of ammunition of Iranian origin to be documented in use with the Ukrainian military: prior to this, we have noted Ukrainian troops using 122mm/152mm artillery projectiles and 122mm Grad rockets- all made in Iran in 2022.

Hello Everyone, we noticed it's been a whole year since we started this account!

We have been privileged to provide reliable information on military actions, materiel captures and tracking of weapons used and supplied in Ukraine for a whole 12 months.
We have received significant support over the past year, which we greatly appreciate.

Combatants and sources in disparate locations have helped us uncover a wide variety of unexpected aspects as the war has developed- in a way that we hope is accessible to all.
This includes showing tons of destroyed and captured equipment, previously unannounced military deliveries to Ukraine and of course exclusive footage starting from Bayraktar TB-2 videos and fighting for Snake Island- and much much more.
