3/n #NotMatureForCDS What is required of a person as CDS? Vision. To back the vision, a correctly organised force AND officer cadre that is trained to understand the task set for it. For Vision, the CDS needs to be in absolute alignment with Executive and Bureaucracy and know

4/n #NotMatureForCDS where as nation we are headed to in next 10,20,30,40 and 50 years as minimum, he must have all three Chiefs think similarly so that the organisation, equipment and training are perfectly aligned with national requirement. I hope it is easy to understand?

5/n #NotMatureForCDS Rather than what the CDS must have, let us see what the officers must have as part of training. Armed Forces are trained for 'external' threat. Right? It means they are NOT TRAINED for internal tasks within India. By 'external' we mean balance 194 countries.

6/n #NotMatureForCDS We cannot take on 194 countries hence come down to 1. Neighbouring Countries. 2. Region. 3. Neighbouring country's neighbours 4. Rest of the countries. 5. Our Economic Interests. Agreed? Of these, to Armed Forces 1 & 5 are applicable as Priority 1, rest as P2
