Pentagon Financial is a #DaaS protocol on @0xPolygon which pays out in $PENT and uses a very intriguing (and fun) fusion mechanism to upgrade nodes to increase yields. They also have a unique renting option as well!

Their roadmap is in-progress, would love to see this translated to an infographic for easy consumption. So far they've maintained plans and there's a lot of tailwinds here for the project and $PENT

Here's my FAVORITE part of what they've done. They created a detailed onboarding/tutorial to help people learn how to purchase $PENT and create their first node. This tutorial is actually what convinced me to make a node

They also took the time to place FAQ's front and center in their @discord, which contains just shy of 2k members currently. I felt very well informed when I made my first node, and that bodes well for onboarding & growth

Creating a node is extremely easy. The UI could use some more attention, but it populates clean and shows detailed rows of each node

Onboarding into their community was a breeze and I wasn't overwhelmed by a ton of channels, and the level of maturity was astounding. Noticeably lacking the usual get-rich-quick moon boy crypto bros seen in other projects

Team & community

The team have been KYC'd through @AssureDefi, but are not doxxed (to my knowledge). First three words coming to mind to describe the team so far:

✅ Professional
✅ Sensible

Also very receptive to feedback and new ideas!

Community (as mentioned) is very laid back, mature, professional, and helpful. This, combined with their stellar onboarding material bodes well for their ability to grow and scale their community

Sustainability & Value

These projects live & die by their treasury management. Pentagon is preparing for it's first treasury investment of $87K USD. Smart acquisitions, a diversified portfolio, and avoid having major dependencies on projects like Strong... I'll feel good

My biggest concern with Pentagon is how they will inform their community in a way to ensure smart decisions are made with treasury funds. But something they'll be sharing soon has me confident that informed decisions will be made!

Pentagon's ability to become self-sufficient using treasury investments is the only open question in my mind. Critical step and can't be botched. If they manage their treasury well - I feel good about their ability to build a long runway

Potentially key areas of 🔴R/S🟢 to watch for below. $PENT has been very stable, relatively speaking. We'll see if it holds.
