To be a millionaire,

You need to stay in the game.

You can't let stress, anger or anxiety take you out.

When I feel any of these emotions, here's what I do:
• Pause and Recognize

Viktor Frankl said, Between stimulus and response there is a space.

In that space is our power to choose our response.

In our response lies our growth and our freedom.

You can't control what happens to you.

You can control how you feel and respond.
• Impermanence

It doesn’t matter.

None of it is going to last – not your:

• Life
• Family
• Legacy
• Wealth
• Possessions

In the fullness of time, it’s all going to disappear – Everything.

Take a breath.

Let it go and move on.

The 2-minute rule

Will improve your life.
• Habits are the key

If you focus on the destination, you'll often fail.

Focus on the habits that will lead to the destination.

If you run every single day, you can run a marathon.

If you read every day for 30 minutes, you will read 30+ books per year.

Break it down.
• Start Small

Too often you think you need to start too big and:

• don't start
• crash and burn

Instead, start as small as possible.

Stack the simple wins out of the gate.

These wins compound and build your Get Sh!t Done Muscle.

That's where the 2-minute rule comes in.

These 10 Mental Models will make you smarter: Image
• First principles

Aristotle defined first principles as "the first basis from which a thing is known."

Break things down to their fundamental truths and reason up from there:

• Identify your current assumptions
• Break them down to the roots
• Create new solutions
Most people reason from analogies.

They look to incrementally improve on what's already being done.

With first principles thinking, ignore what's being done.

Ask yourself, if you started from scratch, how would you design this.
