I think my followers are a little tired about hearing about Ukraine from me, so I'm going to return to our usual programming:

I have a penis infection.

I went to the doctor today and I got into the examination room and a nurse (female) came in and, because I had written "suspected penis infection" when I booked the appointment, she knew.

And she started to ask me about it.

And well...
I started to think she was going to examine it!

And this, well, I think the technical term is "boner"...

I got a boner.

And then she went to take my blood pressure.

And my heart is beating realllllll fast, I'm thinking to myself:

*Oh well, this reading is totally fucked.*
I don't even remember what the numbers were but they sounded high.

She stops and she starts asking me again about my penis and well my boner is not going away.

And then she stops. Phew, I'm good.

"The doctor (male) will be in in a moment."

And she leaves the room.
Fuck.

Now I have a boner and this dude is totally going to check out my dick. What do I say? "It's uhh...not you, it's the nurse."

I realize *I gotta get rid of this boner.*

I whip out my phone and that's when I remember I have dozens of hate-filled replies on Twitter.
I start reading shit like "you piece of shit, you don't know anything about Ukraine."

"Stay in your lane."

"I followed you for business, what a waste of my time."

And it worked, killed the boner, just in time before the doctor came in!
Thanks to my followers we averted a disaster boner situation.

My penis will be fine.

Don't go for a swim in San Antonio's Riverwalk y'all.

Why I wrote what I did about Ukraine:
Most recent tweet.

1. Why did I give Zelensky the nom de guerre "hollywood"? Because he used to be an actor.
2. Why do I think he subjected his nation to war? Because he chose NOT to negotiate before the war and downplayed its likelihood of occurring.

3. Why did I make fun of Instagram game? Because he's an actor so this is his area of expertise, but also because as I expressed earlier, this is not a winnable war for Ukraine, so you can do all the propaganda videos you want, it's better to surrender to minimize loss of life.

What the Russian invasion of Ukraine means for the world going forward:

1. Volatility begets volatility. When something crazy happens, the chance that other crazy things will happen goes up. It's not a coincidence that Canada is freezing peoples' assets and Russia invaded
Ukraine after the most significant event in most of our lives, Covid. To give an example of why things like this happen, other countries around the world may look at what Russia did and say "Wow, I can do that." and when they do, we get another significant event.
2. It's an invitation for China to take Taiwan. China can do the same exact strategy as Russia. Instead of massing troops in Belarus, Crimea, and Donbass, the Chinese can (they'll need some time for naval improvement) just mass boats, missiles, etc and then just swallow Taiwan.

My company won an appeal in the 5th circuit court of appeals (on all counts).

That's a very good thing, but unfortunately, it's not a precedential decision, meaning it can be cited, but it is not binding.

If I had known that was a possibility I might've settled.

The best part of the case was a very big Chinese seller using this as their address with Amazon.

And they had the balls to appeal the decision against them on the basis that we didn't properly serve them when we actually went to this address to find an older white woman.

I read this bearish piece on crypto making the rounds.

I’m qualified to debate the points on Bitcoin but nothing else.

Here are his criticisms of Bitcoin and my responses:
I used to think this was the fatal flaw of Bitcoin.

He’s right that this occurs. Mining is a commodity marker and economies of scale drive concentration, which is bad because it increases the chance of a 51% attack allowing a miner to double spend their Bitcoin. ImageImage
However, once this occurs, and we would know because you can’t double spend your Bitcoin without someone being on the other side of that, it would cause massive loss of trust not only in the participating miners/their public addresses, but also in the entire network.

For years, I have seen the same take over and over about Amazon.

First it was “Amazon doesn’t make money.”

Then it was “Amazon doesn’t make money without AWS”.

Now we have a new version: “Amazon doesn’t make money without AWS and advertising.”

Say it with me now…
Amazon’s retail business is profitable and very much so.

They use the branded 1st party retail sales as a loss leader to print money off of their marketplace which is, unlike retail, riskless profit.

I know because I’ve looked at the unit economics of their business for years.
So then why does their business look unprofitable after separating out AWS and advertising?

First reason is they’re aggressively depreciating every plane, truck, and warehouse they buy.

Second reason is this crap. How much of it makes money? It’s all in “retail”.
