I guess this specifically addresses the niche audience that want an exact replica of Milk without the lactose, cholesterol laden dairy fat etc etc and are seemingly OK with the horde of chemicals that gives the taste, texture.
The entire Plant based meat replacement category which showed a lot of investor interest over the last two years seems to be slowing down significantly.

Looks like what customers are really looking for is a set of ingredients or products that not only solve their specific areas of concern, is competitively priced, versatile in applications and is relatively #cleanlabel.
On tempeh i had written: Very rarely one comes across an ingredient which not only is clean label (with no nasties listed on the ingredient label), filled with the goodness of Protein, Prebiotics & Probiotics, is plant based (the current raging trend)
And is extremely versatile in usage across meal ocassions and across multiple cuisines.
