1. This thread is to educate folks on the FALLACIES of IITs or IIMs being "Extraordinary Institutions"... this is utter nonsense.. They are as good as other RECs (or now NITs?) or some decent institutions.. To understand this you need to u/s past practices

2. In the past, IITs & IIMs took in the BEST academic performers who were already brilliant & didnt need a high amount of teaching/training.. they were already great self-learners & had to be only "polished" by these institutes..

3. So, to say that its IITs or IIMs that turned ordinary students into BRILLIANT individuals is BS that is being peddled for a long time.. The simple principle followed was "Hire for talent, train for skills".. These Instis just enrolled the BEST talent..

4. FYI.. Although IIMs started in early 1960s.. there were no entrance exams till 1981 (First being IIMA.. others joined in 1984).. admissions were purely on Grad results & GDs.. Did you know this? Because there was not much demand for Mgmt courses..

5. Even after IITs.. Many of the brightest students who went abroad had to do an additional PG course to match the standards demanded there (as in US or UK).. check up on many IIT students who did addnl courses in the US..

6. Till the turn of the century the Rijadvasuns in IIT/IIMs were reasonable (around 25% I think) allowing talent to find space but they grew gradually & added moronic courses so that the DOMS can also get in and pass.. although many DOMS still dropout..

7. To summarise.. IITs/IIMs were only taking in the brightest students & thats what made them great.. But now thats gone too.. All these instis host the worst scum from the Ambedkariyas & Periyarist gangs.. Theres nothing special about them anymore.. END OF STORY!

PS: Top Cos worldwide "Hire for talent, train for skills".. Talent CANNOT be transferred.. Skills can. You cannot transfer the talent of a Brahmin to a Thookiya even if you turn the world upside down.. World understands that.. Ghuchiya politicians also do. LOL! They just pretend!
