What does "accessibility" mean for you when it comes to Church? #disability #accessibility #welcome #church
Any specific resources or changes which you would love to see? Personally I'd love to see a box of coloured overlays in every church so that when I forget mine (which is every time) I can still use one.
I'd like (once contact resumes) for those presiding at Communion to announce the "Peace" giving instructions on how to nonverbally indicate you wish to share the peace in words, or with a handshake or a hug etc.
I'd like churches to list on their website/Facebook page what the accessibility accommodations which they provide are.
I'd like the rows closest to the entrance/exit to be reserved for those who are likely to arrive late due to their disability. I would LOVE a variety of service times and types
