During this press conference, @SenSchumer made one of the most stomach churning claims I’ve heard about abortion. He claimed that pro-laws “largely fly in the face of public opinion, common sense, and frankly, common decency.”
Pro-life laws regulating and/or restricting abortion are NOT, for most part, against public opinion. The most recent @maristpoll/@KofC poll released last month shows that 71% of Americans want aborted restricted. kofc.org/en/resources/c…
It’s particularly worth highlighting late-term abortion, as #WHPA would’ve legalized abortion until birth, making @SenSchumer’s comments particularly appalling. Here’s link of former abortionist explaining late-term induction method in @LiveAction project. abortionprocedures.com/induction/
As both sides have spoken about with #WHPA, access could soon change. Not a bad thing! The U.S. has some of most lax abortion laws in the world. What DOES reflect "public opinion, common sense, and common decency," @SenSchumer, is not abortion up until birth with NO restrictions.

Oh boy, folks! This person surely did not know what they were getting into when they had me prove that infanticide "does happen." Well, buckle up for this thread, @imagnoreligion!
@imagnoreligion First of all, there's @JillStanek, who acted as a whistleblower to expose Christ Hospital, where not only were babies being delivered and then purposefully left to die of exposure in a linen closet. THAT was their late-term abortion method, actually.
The Born Alive Infants Protection Act is law, but is just symbolic. There's no teeth to it. @BenSasse introduced Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act to add that enforcement, but pro-infanticide Dems blocked it. @SpeakerPelosi won't even let it come to the floor.
