Bob Ney: The White House put out the SCOTUS nominee; Sen. Grassley praised her. It's formal & there's no reason to delay. As terrible as things are with Russia/Ukraine, we don't stop what's going on in our country. They just need to do it.

Bob Ney: Putin is going to feel the crunch. The stock market dipped today in Moscow. I still don't buy that he's so out of reality that he did this--I think he miscalculated the moves & miscalculated how things would go.

Rick: Tomorrow is Biden's State of the Union address.
Bob Ney: I don't think it'll move a legislative agenda but the president will take the original Build Back Better & look at it in a new way. Ukraine, the domination of the Supreme Court will be mentioned.

Bob Ney: I think the crisis in the Ukraine is a good opportunity for Pres. Biden to take this to a new level, not the old politics of the 20th C.

Rick: Rep. Tlaib is going to give a response after the State of the Union. Someone said that's like keying your own car.
We need unity & a clear, concise message. I don't think the grievance that will come from Rep. Tlaib's message will do any good & won't budge Biden
