Scott Paul: This was a speech free of grievances, which is a complete change from the last four years. He easily could have said, "Trump promised Buy American but he didn't deliver. He promised Foxconn jobs but didn't deliver," but he didn't.

Scott Paul: Biden obviously demonstrated he could win an election. His job is to make sure he's talking to those who voted against him & to bring them back in. This speech opened the door to that.

Scott Paul: We're going to make EV charging stations in the U.S. so they're compliant. It can be a magnet for investment in the U.S. Having the policy & the investment together can be a powerful driver of investment in manufacturing
