Since everyone writes a thread, let me also write one on FII/DII which is quiet a hot topic now a days and every Twitter Guru is claiming that FII is a loser.

Between March 2020 and March 2022,

FII have sold 95402 Cr while DII have bought 1.05L Cr.

Monthly SIP is 10k Cr, which should be 2.4 L Crores in 2 Years.

Net net, a claim that DII is consuming FII is a false information.

Here is a question, how come DII is consuming so much?

DII Net Sellers - 82000 Cr
SIP Inflow - 1.2 Lac Crores

FII Net Sellers - 2.29L Cr
DII Net Buyers - 1.87L Cr
SIP Inflow - 1.2 Lac Cr + 1.2 of Last Year + 82000 Cr of DII Selling Last Year = 3.2 Lac Crores

In 1st Year, DII were net sellers when FII actually took Nifty from 10900 to 15000, then DII took Nifty from 15K to 18K when FII actually sold almost 1.8X i.e. 2.29L Cr of worth i.e. 1.34L Cr of worth bought between Mar 20 - Mar 21

Do not fall in the trap that FII is selling at low. FII actually bought at lowest, sold all plus 0.9X more to DII at the peak.

Retailers are being fooled on Twitter by these Fake Gurus who don't even know the actual holding of FII. Numbers speaks volume.

Thread is open for Trollers to provide correction in numbers.
