▪️ 6.3% below the five-year average (752 fewer deaths)

This was a decrease in the number of deaths from the previous week (1,066 deaths, 9.2% of all deaths).
In England, 814 deaths involving #COVID19 were registered in the week ending 18 Feb (compared with the 1,025 deaths registered the previous week).

In Wales, 47 deaths involving COVID-19 were registered in this week (compared with the 40 the previous week).
