SEVEN HILLS PARK ENCAMPMENT CLEARING BEHIND THE SCENES: This happened to our crew just a few weeks ago. We were confronted and demonized for showing this reality in Capitol Hill. City moved in days later and cleared this problematic camp. #Seattle

SEATTLE CITY HALL PARK ENCAMPMENT SWEEP: This past summer, we extensively covered the crime, drug use, shootings, and deaths associated with this park next to the King Co. Courthouse. Final day, this person with mutual aid kept coming at the KOMO crew with aggressive behavior.

FINAL DAYS OF CAL ANDERSON PARK HOMELESS ENCAMPMENT: Let’s not forget this debacle back in Dec 2020. Before the city moved in to clear it, every time KOMO crews showed up to film, we had to deal with people threatening us to leave. In the end, the city won and order was restored.

ANOTHER WELL KNOWN MEDIA HECKLER: As we filmed final days of Cal Anderson Park encampment, this fella tried to disrupt our gathering process. He followed us around Capitol Hill. My security finally intervened after he made contact with us. @mattmarkovich knows him well.

ANTIFA BLACK BLOC: This was another classic moment in 2020. These violent activists surrounded Cal Anderson Park. When we showed up to do interviews, they started throwing rocks and bottles at us. Even with security, we left immediately and went LIVE in a safer location.

THIS WAS SCARY: I got separated from my security guard. As I was recording the violent activists vandalizing @WholeFoods in Seattle’s First Hill, the guy with this beak mask tried to stop me from recording. He grabbed my phone, but I wrestled him to the ground and got it back.

UNIDENTIFIED ATTACKER: First time I am publicly talking about this incident. Many of my journo colleagues know. This is the guy who assaulted me and tried to take my phone. He also chased me through the crowd, but I managed to escape just with this banged up elbow. #SummerofLove

On Sunday, a non-verbal Plymouth resident allegedly made terroristic threats.

#BREAKING: Violent far-left activist Alex Randall has created a hit-list of what he calls “RIGHTWING GRIFTERS, Doxxers, and Harassers,” operating in Seattle. He posted it on his @Youtube page on Saturday but then took it down for some reason. Our spies did manage to get a copy and screen shot of the post.
Either way, the Nordstrom(@Nordstrom) employee went on unhinged rants about conservatives and encouraged his followers to target certain independent journalists.

#BREAKING: President Trump will sign an executive order that will start to defund and dismantle the failed Housing First policy that has led to record homelessness in America, especially in cities like Seattle, San Francisco, Portland, and LA.

Sources in the White House also tell me the executive order will strip federal funding for “harm reduction” initiatives that have enabled record drug overdose deaths. This is a worst case scenario for needle exchanges and the “homeless industrial complex.”

No more federal funding for “permanent supportive housing.”
Instead, all that money will now be put toward short term shelters, addiction treatment, and detox.
This executive order undercuts the entire business models for places like DESC and Plymouth Housing.

NEW: WA Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal(@RepJayapal) just introduced a bill that allows homeless people to camp on federal land if they have no other options. This was simply political theater and won't go anywhere. Here's the real problem for Jayapal. 🧵👇

Despite billions of dollars spent over the years, Washington state has the third largest homeless population in America with more than 31K people living on the streets. That's likely an undercount. This is all happening under Jayapal's watch.

Part of the problem is her far-left progressive ideology. Here's what she recently told the Seattle Times: “Because I don’t think that homelessness is a failure of the individual,” she said. “I think it’s a failure of the system. I think it’s a failure of our policymaking.”

#BREAKING: Seattle restauranteur David Meinert says the massive Microsoft Build (@Microsoft) developer conference won't be returning to Seattle next year after attendees complained about urban decay, open-air drug use, and numerous tents lining the streets.
