Greetings from Southeast D.C. Settled in courtside for the CAA quarterfinals at the Entertainment and Sports Arena.

Top-seeded Towson (24-7) opens its tournament against ninth-seeded Northeastern (9-21). Huskies only won two CAA games, but one of them was against Towson.

Towson starters: Gibson, Rizzuto, Timberlake, Holden, Thompson

Northeastern starters: Walters, Emanga, Telfort, Djogo, Doherty

Officials: Clarence Armstrong, Brian Dorsey, Tony Henderson

Under-16. Towson 2-0.

As a side note, it's been a loooooong time since Duke beat a higher-seeded team in the NCAA tournament.

Like Grant Hill vs. Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson a long time ago.

In fairness, it is difficult to beat higher-seeded teams when you're usually a No. 1 seed yourself.

Midshipmen can secure their second 20-win season in the last 22 years with a victory.

American starters: Stephens, Smalls, Beckton Jr., O'Neil, Rogers

Under-16. American 14-7.

The Eagles had 14 points in the entire first half when these teams last met on Feb. 16, so things are going really swimmingly for them so far.
