Things you can do to help #Ukraine on this particular day, or any day which is particularly disruptive:
1) If you are on Signal, Telegram, etc.-- When large files are posted, don't download them immediately. It's more important that #Ukranians have the quickest access.
1/
2) People in immediate crisis will be acting on instinct. The more reliability, the better. Don't try to stop them from using technology that works for them. They already use a variety of tools. It's like if you did a wordle on your phone while driving. Don't add complexity. 2/
3) If you're religious, you can pray. If you're not, you can hope.
4) You can listen to the final movement of Modest Mussourgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. It's called The Great Gate, referring to @Kyiv, and in English often called The Great Gate of Kiev.
4a) There are lots of different ways the Great Gate of #Kyiv is played, but I think the visuals here are compelling.
4b) This is a more common style of playing the Great Gate of #Kyiv.

Pres. Zelenskyy's March 8 evening address, no subtitles. "Don't talk about us. Help us. Prepare to support our reconstruction after the war. Because everyone knows that 'after the war' will surely come." Part 1 of 4
There is some fog of war about what is happening with these Polish Mig-29s. My guess
- US thinks any NFZ is unacceptable
- POL has wanted to send them for a week
- US secretly armtwisted POL into stopping
- Neither US nor POL will disclose the details of the armtwisting 1/
- POL is desperate to send them
- US has been flooding American media with propaganda equating NFZ with nuclear disaster
- What POL has now done is to "out" the US' armtwisting without disclosing details
2/
- POL now unlinks the issue of backfill with F16s etc.
- As GHW Bush wld have said, "no linkage! no linkage!"
- And Germany says it will accept anyone's jets for deployment to UKR
- Shoe now on other foot
